Pathan: Is The Movie Starring Shah Rukh Khan & Deepika Padukone Isn’t Set To Release On Diwali?

Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh Khan is set to return on the big screen with Pathan. According to new reports, Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone, has got postponed even again.

According to a Mid-Day report, Yash Raj Films has postponed the production of three big films, including Pathan, Tiger 3 and Irrfan Khan’s son Babil’s web series, owing to an increase in COVID-19 cases.

Pathan has been making waves and grabbing headlines since the news of its release and audiences soaking up every teeny-weeny piece of information they can get their hands on about the espionage thriller.

According to a well-placed source inside, Pathan, which was scheduled to premiere this Diwali by the industry, may not touch the big screen for the season.

Shah Rukh Khan is returning to the cinema after a self-imposed four-year vacation. Additionally, since Pathan is part of YRF’s espionage universe, with Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif’s Tiger trilogy and Hrithik Roshan’s War, every film element is scrutinized with a fine comb.

The movie is written and directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra, Maxim Ajjawi and Alexander Dostal. Moreover, besides Shah Rukh Khan, this movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. Furthermore, it stars Salman Khan in cameo role. Talking about film’s music, it’s been composed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani.

The film includes filming several high-octane action sequences in exotic locations that require extensive stunt work and high-end visual effects, all of which take time.
