‘Pearls of Humour’: Twinkle Khanna Takes A Dig At Indians Invested In King Charles III’s Coronation

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar shared a few “anmol ratan of humour” written by his wife Twinkle Khanna. It was in her weekly column in a daily. Recently, the actress-turned-writer took a dig at those who were glued to the screen during the coronation of King Charles III. She compared it to stalking an ex-boyfriend’s social media page.

The actor Akshay Kumar shared a snippet of Twinkle’s write-up. He wrote, “Some anmol ratans (precious pearls) of humour courtesy the pen of @twinklerkhanna.”

On the other hand, Twinkle Khanna wrote that she can understand the British being invested in King Charles’ coronation. But there are a large number of Indians despite our legacy of colonization. This fascination according to Twinkle Khanna is like a relationship with an ex-lover who has mistreated you.

She further added that it is like stalking your ex-lover. The actress-turned-writer said that one of her daughter’s classmates described it in a perfect way. She said that it was two hours of watching a man sitting on a chair and trying on a hat.

On May 6, the coronation of King Charles III of the United Kingdom was a widely covered event. Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor performed at the coronation concert in Windsor a day later. Earlier, Twinkle Khanna herself shared a video of herself attending the coronation ceremony of King Charles III without actually attending it.
