The upcoming film Pathaan is causing a storm on the internet for various reasons. Firstly, it is marking a comeback of superstar Shah Rukh Khan after a hiatus of four years and secondly, the chiseled look of Khan in the movie is raising the temperatures. Now, on the top of all this, its latest song ‘Besharam Rang’ is grabbing eyeballs and is trending all over.
Featuring Shah with the ever so gorgeous Deepika Padukone, the track takes the audience to the beautiful locales of Spain as the pair grooves to the tunes of it. But seems like Padukone’s bold avatar is not going down well with Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra, who is thinking to ban the film in his state if corrections are not made. The politician is not convinced with the risque swimming costumes makers have chosen for their heroine in the song.
Additionally, the color of her outfits is saffron which is hurting the sentiments of many Hindu bigots. Many BJP workers and RSS supporters are expressing their displeasure over the saffron bikini that Deepika is seen wearing in the video.
“The costumes that actor Deepika Padukone, who supports Tuke Tukde gang, is wearing in the song are highly objectionable, the song has been filmed with wrong intent. The costumes and scenes should be corrected otherwise whether the film should be allowed release in Madhya Pradesh or not would be matter of consideration,” stated Mishra.
Let us tell you that since its release, ‘Besharam Rang’ is getting into controversies one after the other. The makers were recently accused of plagiarism from French song Makeba by Jain. There were also trends like ‘Boycott Pathaan’ going on on Twitter due to vulgar and obscene visuals in its first released track.
