In the clips, Karan Johar questioned the diva about her relationship with Kareena because there had been a lot of tension between the two back then. Preity responded by saying that she has matured and has become a lot more at peace with life. Karan also enquired as to whether Preity had ever met Kareena at a social gathering. The diva responded that Kareena never reciprocates her “hi” greetings when they cross paths. Preity went on to say that she was fine with it. The Reddit user who posted the video criticized KJo for starting confrontations between celebrities in order to acquire his content.

Preity Zinta was defended by some online users, but Karan Johar was criticized by others for posing a question that would make things worse between the two actresses. The clip, which was shared on Reddit recently, was a cut and short version of the episode. However, as per a report in Bollywood Life, in the same episode of the Koffee With Karan, a clip from Kal Ho Na Ho was played, and to this, the diva said:
“Kareena, thank you for Kal Ho Na Ho. Don’t hold me for it, you always hold me for it. I don’t have any problem with her, but, I do have a problem when she ignores me. I don’t like that. Kareena says hi to me when Karan is around. I think, Kareena, we are both actors of the Indian film industry and we should just take a chill-pill.”

Kareena revealed she had apologized to Karan for not doing Kal Ho Naa Ho during her first season appearance on Koffee With Karan. Additionally, she discussed her friendship with Preity Zinta. The actress apparently found Preity’s remark about famous kids obtaining unfair benefits offensive. According to a previous IBTimes report, Kareena said:
“She said something about me, and I retaliated…There was probably some misunderstanding that she wasn’t interested in clearing up. That’s fine by me because she’s nowhere in competition with me.” Kareena addressed about Preity’s remarks that she was ignored by Kareena and that she only acknowledged her when Karan was present. A quote from the actress might be: “Let her think what she wants to think. She is my senior, so next time, I shall go up to her and say ‘Hi’.”
