Joyland Follows Love Story Of A Boy And A Transgender 

Joyland follows the story of the youngest son of a traditional Pakistani family who gets a job as a Bollywood-style burlesque backup dancer. He falls in love with Viva (Alina Khan), a transgender woman who hosts the show. The film was written and directed by Saim Sadiq and stars Ali Junjo, Rusty Farooq and Alina Khan. First pakistani film Debuted in 2022 cannes 

Last year, Joyland became the first Pakistani film to debut at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, winning both the Jury Prize and the Queer Palm Award. Since its debut at Cannes, Joyland has been screened at various film festivals, including the Toronto International Film Festival.
