Priyanka opened up about her excitement for the Amazon Prime Video show at a recent event, while Anthony Russo discussed casting her in the highly anticipated series.
Priyanka Chopra is excited about her forthcoming sci-fi espionage series, Citadel, for Amazon Prime Video. The actor was recently in New York, where she discussed the series during a panel discussion on Inside TV’s Best Big Bet. She mastered six languages for the part of a top agent in the series and even conducted her own stunts.
Citadel impressed Priyanka as ‘innovative’ and a ‘interesting experiment.’ “You don’t have to see the American show to understand; (the local language series) stands alone,” she explained. Priyanka will appear in Citadel opposite Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden. The series will be adapted for the Indian, Italian, Spanish, and Mexican markets. the Indian adaptation of Citadel will be directed by Raj and DK and star Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Besides Russo Brothers’ Citadel, Priyanka has several exciting projects lined up. Along with Celine Dion and Sam Heughan, Priyanka will appear in It’s All Coming Back To Me. Additionally, Priyanka can be seen starring alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa.
