Now, a new report in KoiMoi claims that both Vijay Deverakonda and Director Puri Jagannadh have chosen to forgo their salaries for the upcoming film Jana Gana Mana, which is also one of those allegedly pan-Indian movies.

According to the aforementioned report, Jana Gana Mana’s budget has been cut in half because the other producers and investors have chosen to play it safe following the demise of Liger. This directly affects the buzz surrounding any project that Vijay and Puri collaborate on until they prove themselves worthy. Both the fees they’re skipping and a portion of the budget cuts would be required to make up for the enormous losses.
