Randeep Hooda and Sushmita Sen dated for three years, during which time their relationship and subsequent breakup made news on several occasions. Randeep finally opened up about what had transpired and why the couple had broken up after three years of dating.

For the uninitiated, Randeep Hooda and Sushmita Sen were a couple in the past and dated for quite some time. Between 2006 and 2009, Randeep and Sushmita were a celebrity couple. They made public appearances together and even held hands in front of the cameras, but Hooda had previously said that breaking up with Sushmita was the finest thing that had happened to him.

The Reason of Breakup

Randeep said that he was not in a relationship with “Miss Universe” and that he did not feel “a sense of conquest in any way” after the breakup. He claimed that his worst moral decision was skipping one and only theater practice when Sushmita pressured him into staying home. Even though he wasn’t a celebrity, he had a taste of stardom and all the attention that comes with it. He realized that he had given the relationship too much of my time. He further added that the breakup was the finest thing that could have happened to him. This allowed him to focus on his own life.

When asked what had gone wrong, Randeep had admitted that it was a combination of factors. The actor said that relationships don’t always last forever. He further added that unless they’re headed toward  a long-term commitment, it is best for both parties to go their separate ways.

Sushmita’s recent film, Taali, is creating waves in the industry at the moment. The show has been well-received, and its popularity seems to be growing. Both of Randeep’s upcoming movies, Swatantra Veer Savarkar and Laal Rang 2, have been in the headlines recently for different reasons.
