Rani Mukerji’s Shocking Revelation, Says She Was ‘Exchanged At Birth’; What Happened Next?

Rani Mukerji comes from a filmy background, where her father, Ram Mukherjee, was a well-known producer, and her mother, Krishna Mukherjee, was a singer.

Rani initially didn’t want to pursue acting but when her father’s earnings stopped after his bypass surgery, she took up the responsibility of the family and entered the film industry at her mother’s insistence.

However, this journey wasn’t easy for her. When she gave her first screen test, it was so bad that her mother told the producer not to cast her. Rani Mukerji revealed in an interview that when she was born, her mother Krishna Mukherjee made some startling remarks to the nurse.

A while later, when the nurse handed Krishna Mukherjee the baby girl, she began to have doubts. Upon closer inspection, she noticed that the baby’s eyes weren’t deep brown. Krishna Mukherjee told the nurse, “This is not my daughter. This baby’s eyes are not deep brown like my daughter’s. Go and find my daughter.”

On the other hand, Rani had already been handed over to a Punjabi family. When the search for Rani began, it was discovered that she had been given to a Punjabi family. Rani’s mother went to that ward and brought her daughter back. Rani shared this story in an interview with ABP News.

Once, Rani mistakenly reached the set instead of her school bus and went to the film set. She had written ‘Dear Aamir’ in her autograph book for Aamir Khan, thinking he would be pleased to see it, but the opposite happened.

On the set, Aamir grabbed the diary from Rani’s hand in anger, signed it, and returned it. He didn’t even look at Rani, which hurt her feelings deeply.

Rani Mukerji secretly married filmmaker Aditya Chopra in Italy on April 21, 2014. Just a year after this marriage, they have a daughter named Adira.
