Ranveer Singh To Be Seen Dribbling Basketball At NBA All-Star Celebrity Game Next Week; Says, ‘Really Looking Forward To It’

Ranveer Singh has established himself as one of the best actors in the industry. Now, the celebrity is preparing to enter the world of sports. The ‘Gully Boy’ star will play basketball in the NBA’s All-Star Celebrity Game in the United States next week, with other worldwide celebrities and sportsmen. Last night, the actor flew to Cleveland to take part in the high-profile NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. In a recent interview, the actor discussed how his appearance at NBA games will emphasise the Indian performing community’s global presence.

He said, “It is quite exciting for me! This is the stuff of dreams. That it’s so far-fetched that it’s not even on my bucket list. I will be playing against and with some of the finest talents in the world of talent and sport and it’ll be a great experience to be in Cleveland in what is a weekend-long celebration of basketball culture. I am really looking forward to it.”

For the unaware, Ranveer Singh was named the NBA Brand Ambassador for India by the US National Basketball Association in September of last year.

The actor went on to say that he wants to do his part to help Indian films get international prominence. He feels that, despite the language barrier, the Koreans have done an excellent job, and that it serves as an example of what Indian film may look like in the future on the international stage.

Ranveer went on to say that he didn’t get enough practice before the All-Star celebrity game because he was busy shooting a song for his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, but that he has been quite active in the past 2-3 years because he was regular with his basketball practice at his apartment complex.

Ranveer will be joined by Quavo, Jack Harlow, Machine Gun Kelly, Anuel, and Tiffany Haddish for the All-Star Celebrity Game.
