It is a special time for Farhan and Shibani. After a grand haldi function, the mehendi function of both of them have made their wedding celebrations even more special. Shibani’s sister Anusha, her friends Rhea Chakraborty and Amrita Arora were among the special guests and together they made the occasion even more special. On the occasion of their haldi, Rhea Chakraborty and Anusha Dandekar did a tremendous dance on ‘Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna’.

Before the marriage, as a part of wedding rituals, firstly their Haldi ceremony took place on the terrace of the bungalow of the wedding venue. Many big celebrities including Shibani’s sister Anusha Dandekar, Rhea Chakraborty and Amrita Arora attended the haldi ceremony as guests. Farhan Akhtar’s father, Javed Akhtar had recently confirmed the wedding news while talking to Bombay Times. He told that the ceremony would take place at his Khandala farmhouse. He had also told that wedding would be a private and small event in which close friends and family would attend the ceremony.

Talking about the work front, Farhan will return to director’s chair with the upcoming film ‘Jee Le Zara’. He has written the story of the film along with his sister Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. This upcoming film, starring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, will go on floors in 2022.
