Actress Richa Chadha will be seen sharing screen space with Ronit Bose Roy in the drama series “Candy.” The OTT series will premiere in September, according to the less than one-minute preview posted on August 19.

Candy is helmed by Ashish R Shukla is an amalgamation of suspense, fear, hope, politics, ambition, and murder mystery. The web series features actress Richa Chadha and Actor Ronit Roy.

Richa shared a teaser of the series on Instagram and wrote “The secret’s in the candy,” Ronit Bose also took to Instagram and posted the suspense thriller’s teaser. He wrote, “Rudrakund ke seher mein, jo dikhta hai wo hota nahin.”

The series teases fans with a sequence of killings, a dubious confection, and more in the imaginary city of Rudrakund, which is located in the hills. The teaser is interesting and promises to keep spectators on the edge of their seats throughout the film. According to sources, the series would portray a story involving drugs, politics, ambition, and murder, and there will undoubtedly be something to unwrap about sweets, as the series title suggests.

Richa Chadha will play the role of a Police officer who gets entangled in a murder mystery in a hill city Rudrakund. Ronit will be seen playing the role of teacher. Both Richa and Ronit look absolutely promising in the teaser.

The different dimensions of Chadha’s character in the program drew her to the script, according to Chadha. She is new to the thriller and psychological horror genres, but she has always been interested in playing characters with depth. The actor was most recently seen in Lahore Confidential, in which she played a RAW agent.

It will also star Manu Rishi Chadha and Nakul Sehdev in pivotal roles. Ronit’s last screen outing was 7 Kadam. The actor has Vijay Deverkonda’s Liger and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Shamshera in the pipeline.

Candy is produced by Optimystix Entertainment is a complete entertainer. Candy is scheduled to premiere in September on Voot Select Richa also awaits the release of her upcoming project ‘The Six Suspects’, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The actress will be seen as investigating officer in the web series.  The “Six Suspects” will premiere on Disney + Hotstar.
