Sara Ali Khan has managed to make a mark in the industry in a very short time with her talent and hard work. She debuted in Bollywood with Film Kedarnath opposite the late Sushant Singh Rajput and since then there is no looking back for the actress. Sara Ali Khan, who is busy promoting her upcoming film Coolie No.1, has completed 2 years in Bollywood. In a recent interview, Sara Ali Khan opened up about her two years of journey in showbiz.
While speaking to Pinkvilla, Sara Ali Khan stated that she doesn’t choose her films, films chose her. The entertainment portal quoted her saying, “I don’t choose my films, my films choose me. I have been very lucky, that early in my career I have got to work with directors that I am not in a position to choose. Meri aukaat nahi hai ki main Aanand L Rai (Atrangi Re) ya Rohit Shetty (Simmba) ko chunungi, voh mujhe chunenge. All I will say is that my dream, and the reason I became an actor in the first place, is to experience and portray emotions and situations that I wouldn’t be able to in my own life.”
Sara further added, “While social media has given celebrities more well-wishers and fans, it has also given us a lot more people, that we are for the lack of a batter word, answerable to.”
Talking about getting lesser screen time in films, Sara Ali Khan had told PTI, “When you’re working with people like Ranveer and Varun, aapki aukat nahin hoti (you are not in a position) to make such comparisons. You’re just thankful that people like Rohit, David sir, Ranveer or Varun are working with you. You just don’t want to compare these things.”
