Sayantani Ghosh Slams Radhika Madan For Her Remarks On TV, ‘Most Films Get Promoted Across…’

Film actress Radhika Madan is one of those few artistes who have beautifully made a transformation from TV to movies. The actress has a promising career graph. Recently, her film Kuttey released in theatres and during a promotional interview of the same, she said something which did not go down well with TV actress Sayantani Ghosh.

Actually, Radhika recalled her TV days when she used to work 48-50 hours long shift. She revealed that whenever she asked for a script, the makers used to tell her, “Aap set pe chalo, script garma garam aa rahi hai (You just come to the set, a fresh script will come to you).” She also said that whichever director was free, would come to shoot. And whenever she had anything to change about her character, the actress was told by the director that they would pay attention to all this when they make a film.

Sayantani Ghosh lashes out at Radhika Madan

When Sayantani took notice of Radhika’s video, she got hurt and disappointed with her remarks for the small screen. She went on to remind Radhika that she began her career from TV only.

Taking to comments of the clip, Sayantani wrote, “I am quite happy for you @radhikamadan and an ardent fan of you too! I know about your last show and u were great in it. If I recall correctly, it was a TV show. Indeed a brilliant start to a promising career!! Just found this thought process apologizing! Putting down TV is sad! Everything in life has their way of functioning, challenges, and strengths! Same goes for TV too. But let’s not forget it gives job to many and reaches millions of homes. It has an immense reach. And this is why one has to choose this medium to promote his/her film.”

Sayantani also shared the same video on her Instagram Stories. In the write-up, she penned a note slamming Radhika for the way she talked about TV.

In her recent interaction with Siddharth Kannan, the Naaginn fame actress talked about the entire incident. She praised Mouni Roy for her grace.

“We have Mouni Roy who is a dear friend of mine. In her interviews, there is a certain grace that I didn’t find in Radhika’s clip. She and many others look down upon TV, that shouldn’t be done. My issue is one should not treat TV as a stepping stone,” stated Sayantani.
