Shahid says ‘Love stories are most difficult genre to do’

During the film’s trailer launch event, Shahid Kapoor conveyed to reporters, “Missing the light and fun. Honestly, it’s the most difficult genre to crack. I actively listen to ten scripts a month. People may not know this, but there’s so much to hear. Despite the common advice of ‘Aur picture karo (Do more films),’ it’s challenging to find scripts that truly offer something new to the audience. Love stories, in particular, stand out as the most difficult genre to tackle.”

Shahid calls Kabir Singh’s script ‘exciting’

“In the Kabir Singh phase, the character and the entire journey were novel to me. The shocking yet new experience fueled my excitement. However, afterwards, I didn’t encounter anything equally thrilling. Then this film came along, and I thought, ‘This is it. We must narrate a love story that breaks new ground. Whether people will like it or not, whether they will accept it or not – that’s the journey you have to embark on as an artist and a creative person,’” Shahid Kapoor added during the conversation.”
