The doctor said that Samantha does not understand medicine and science. He also wrote things like putting her in jail. In his post, the doctor shared two pictures and wrote, ‘In the picture on the left, popular Indian actress Samantha Ruth is advising her millions of followers to use hydrogen-peroxide nebulization to prevent and treat respiratory viral infections. Unfortunately, she has no understanding of health and science’.

The doctor further wrote, ‘In the picture on the right, it is clear that the scientific society, The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, is warning people not to nebulize and inhale hydrogen peroxide as it is dangerous to health. In a rational and scientifically progressive society, this woman would be charged with endangering public health and would be fined or put in jail. Samantha needs some better advisors in her team. Will the Ministry of Health of India or any health regulatory body do anything about these social media health influencers that are harming public health?

After the doctor’s post, other people also started criticizing Samantha’s post. After which, today on Friday, the actress shared a long post on Instagram. In this, she has given clarification. Samantha has said, ‘I have taken different medicines for the last few months. I have used a lot of medicines. I have used the medicine I have advised myself. I think many of these treatments are very expensive. I consider myself lucky that I can afford these treatments but not everyone is so financially capable. I believe that the advice I have given can prove beneficial for others as well’.
Samantha further wrote, ‘I am not so stupid to advocate any treatment. My intention behind what I suggested was clear. I have suffered and learned a lot in the last few years. I myself was suggested this treatment by a qualified doctor. He is an MD and has worked in DRDO for 25 years’. The actress further wrote, ‘A person has attacked me in very harsh words. I know that he knows more than me, but he should have kept his language simple. I am not making any money from my posts and advice. Nor am I supporting anyone. I am just suggesting an option.’ On this matter, many stars from Varun Dhawan to Kiara Advani have been seen supporting Samantha.
