When we are in a relationship with someone and the relationship starts to fall apart, unless a big evident incident, we aren’t able to figure out what actually is going wrong in that relationship. Self-introspection or a third person’s view about the mis-happenings in the relationship often helps us pinpoint the places that need work.
Darling’s actress Shefali Shah believes in calling a spade a spade and calling out the ills of society. Shefali Shah recently spoke about a big red flag in a relationship. According to her disrespect is a big no-no in any relationship. In a video that’s going viral, the actress elaborated what this red flag means.
In the viral video she says, “You know disrespect can start from a very light level of humor and you even don’t realize it. It starts as simple as ‘Arey wo toh aisa hi karta hai…ya arey wo toh aise hi karti hai…arey isko thodi na samajh aayega’ which is not funny after a certain point of time. When you wanna say something and if you have to hold it back to you, then there is a serious problem. If you start thinking that I really want to share something with him/her but you just let it go as its reaction would be bad.”
“If you’re worried about being yourself in front of someone; good, bad, ugly anything, then there is a major problem. In a relationship, you’re supposed to feel safe and secured, and accepted by the other person. You should not be worrying that it’s not good but let it be.” She further said, “Love and respect are the important pillars of any relationship and if that starts to crumble down, it becomes a problem”.
Since this video got online, it is getting fiercely viral and people are appreciating the way Shefali expressed her point of view for any relationship and we also think that people should definitely think before saying anything.
