Shilpa Shetty Kundra made her acting debut in 1993 in the film Baazigar alongside Shah Rukh Khan, and she has since become well-known for both her acting and dancing abilities. Shilpa, who is in her thirty-year in the Hindi film industry, reflects on her acting career. She will celebrate her 30th year in Bollywood in November of this year.
Shilpa Shetty Opens Up On Not Being Counted In The Top 10
In the interview, she recalled her time in Bollywood and expressed gratitude for everyone’s support.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra discussed the “poetic justice of life” in a recent interview with ETimes. She recalls how she was never considered one of the top ten actors of her generation. She goes on to blame this on a perceived lack of opportunities back then.
But, as times have changed, she has nothing to complain about and is counting all that is on her plate right now, including major television series and films!
She said, “I believe there is always poetic justice in life.”. I was never named one of the top ten actors (list). I may have received a lot of love and appreciation, but I was never ranked among the top ten actors – perhaps due to a lack of opportunities, or whatever.
“Look at me today! I’m working on the biggest series, I just finished filming a movie, I’m working on a multilingual film, and I don’t have anything to complain about today. We all have our own journey; I’ve carved out a niche on television, and my brands are doing well.”
Shilpa Shetty Feels Overworked
Shilpa also mentioned that she tries her hardest to cram as much as she can into her day, especially now that her children have begun school. She added that juggling all of her responsibilities is difficult, and she feels overworked and underpaid.
She went on to say that while she may not be underpaid, she is certainly overworked. As a result of her overwork, Shilpa stated, “It is anything but exciting.”
Shilpa Shetty Believes To Have Carved A Niche For Herself
Looking back on her life, she said she only remembers the lessons life has taught her and the love she has received from others. “I’m pleased and honoured to have made a name for oneself in this sea of talent.”
She was additionally questioned if a film about her husband’s legal case, Raj Kundra’s legal battle, and his arrest for allegedly making pornographic content, would be made. Shilpa said it was not her “place to say anything” if Raj may produce and/or act in the film.
Shilpa Shetty’s Work Front
The actress was last seen in Nikamma, an action-comedy movie by Sabbir Khan. She will next be seen in Sukhee, alongside Amid Sadh and Kusha Kapila, among others.
