Shilpa Shetty shared a video in tribute to Ashtami on Monday on her Instagram. The video shows her husband Raj Kundra and daughter Samisha performing puja at home. Raj wore a brown T-shirt and blue jeans with red teka on the forehead, while Sameesha wore a green ethnic dress and green and pink glasses to celebrate. In the video, he performs puja with a priest and washes her daughter’s feet.
The video begins with the daughter’s feet being wiped. Raj kundra can be seen articulate and ask for blessings after placing a small flower and red tilak at her feet. His daughter put her hand on his head and blessed him. Shilpa Shetty, Samisha and Raj Kundra sing “Jai Mata Di” at the end.she captioned her post, “Kanchika Puja post with my in-house Mahagauri. (don’t miss the sunglasses). All my InstaFam and little Lakshmi – I wish Ashtami happiness.
“She loved it,” director and choreographer Farah Khan wrote, while actress Bipasha Basu posted a heart emoji in the video. One Shilpa fan said, “Ha ha! I love sunglasses”, referring to Samisha’s small sunglasses, while another fan said, “Oh Samisha!! she is the cutest kid I have seen with these values. !! … so cute.”
Shilpa shared a video of her daughter Samisha having prasadam with other girls after the puja on Instagram Stories. she named it “Kanchikapuja”. Behind her Usha Rani Kundra, the mother of Raja Kundra can be seen standing.

Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra got married on November 22, 2009. The couple welcomed Viaan in 2012 and Samisha through surrogacy in 2020.Along with Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberai, she co-created the Indian Police web series of Rohit Shetty. Shilpa will also appear in Son Joshi’s next work Sukhee.
