On December 25, 2023, Kiara Advani shared a seductive photo of herself and her husband, Sidharth Malhotra, from their private Christmas celebration on Instagram. They could be seen cuddling up to each other in the photo as Sidharth happily planted a kiss on his wife. Kiara’s expression in the photo made it very evident how happy and in love she was at that precise moment. She looked stunning in a short dress with a red hue, matching hairband made of reindeer, and transparent heels with a heart design on the front. Sidharth, on the other hand, looked good in red pants and matching sneakers with a black t-shirt. Kiara wrote and wished her fans while posting the adorable picture: “Merry Christmas.”

Kiara often talks about her courtship and happy marriage to Sidharth, showing how much she loves him. She and Vicky Kaushal talked about how perfectly her then-beautiful-now-husband Sidharth had set up everything to pop the question to her during her appearance on the popular reality show Koffee With Karan season 8. When Sidharth and his family went on vacation to Rome, Kiara went too. But the actress felt that he would ask that question there. She said that he should get her parents’ approval before proposing to her. She states:
“So it was the first destination we went to on that trip. He took us to this Michelin star restaurant and his nephew was with us who was supposed to take the photos and capture the moment. I’m sleepy because I have just landed and joined them on this trip. So, I was really tired. And he has planned the works. He has done this candle-light dinner on top.”

As a result, after everything was in place and going as planned, Sidharth got down on one knee and proposed to her. But when the actor asked her to marry him, he used the same line from their movie Shershaah. Then she continued, saying:
“I was so overwhelmed. Then he starts saying the lines of Shershaah. He’s like, ‘Dilli ka sidha sadha launda hu, with the full dialogues of Shershaah and I burst out laughing.”
