Sonali Phogat’s daughter Yashodhara lit the funeral pyre as she and the circle of relatives individuals bid her a tearful farewell on the cremation ground in Rishi Nagar.

The duo had gone to Goa along with Phogat on August 22, under the pretext of a film shoot on August 24. But according to her family, the hotel rooms were only booked for August 21 and 22.

“Video establishes that one of the accused forcefully made her consume a substance. when confronted, accused Sukhwinder Singh and Sudhir Sangwan confessed they deliberately combined obnoxious chemical right into a liquid and made her drink it”, the IGP delivered.

Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh were arrested and produced before a judge who remanded them in police custody for two days.

Phogat, who hailed from Hisar in Haryana and observed reputation on TikTok, became brought dead to the St Anthony clinic in Anjuna in North Goa district on August 23 morning.
