Actress Sonam Kapoor is living out of a suitcase. All this is because of her back and forth to London and Delhi. However, she admitted that Mumbai will always be home to her.
She said that she is a Bombay girl, and it is never going to change. Her accent is a typical Bombay accent, always. Because of her pregnancy, Sonam didn’t leave her house. She hinted at her recent tweet about Mumbai traffic too.
Sonam, who attended an event in the city on Tuesday, had paparazzi waiting for her outside the premises to click her pictures. Although she is very comfortable with the paparazzi, she takes care of her child, Vayu’s privacy. She requested Indian paps to refrain from clicking his pictures. Sonam revealed that they obliged.
However, Sonam praised the Indian paparazzi. She said that the Indian paparazzi do not invade privacy. She said that if you request them not to do something, they will not do it. With the Indian media or paparazzi, she never had a bad experience. She added, “If I told them I do not want his photos taken, they wouldn’t take it.”
Sonam talked about motherhood too. Sonam revealed that motherhood has made her more responsible. Her time is mostly for her son and her husband. Frivolous things are not as important as they used to be to her.
She also added that she has no idea what is going on in the industry right now. With the barrage of negativity that the Hindi film industry is facing, Sonam feels that it’s important to support each other. Every industry works that way. You have to respect your competition. There is room for everyone.
