Sonam Kapoor is celebrating her Father’s 66th birthday by sharing a precious photo of father Anil Kapoor and son Vayu. She also added some photos from her childhood and captioned the photo with a sweet note.

Anil was beaming with joy as he held his little grandson Vayu Kapoor Ahuja in his arms in the first photo. The baby’s face was obscured in the photo by a heart sticker. Along with it, Sonam shared several childhood photos of herself as a young girl. One depicted her sitting on his shoulders, while another depicted her and her sister Rhea Kapoor playing with him on bed.

Anil opened up for the first time about how he felt after becoming a grandfather during a conversation with George Clooney at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit last month. “When I became a father, I couldn’t process it,” he explained. It took some time for me to process it. “I’m still in the process.”

He had accompanied Sonam and her husband Anand Ahuja on their trip to Austria with Vayu. “I was in Austria, and I started slowly connecting with my grandson,” he said of bonding with Vayu on the trip. Vayu, which means wind, is his name. I took him for a walk because the weather was lovely. He was trying to eat while staring at the sky and the sun. That was his first introduction to the universe, the planet, and nature. It was fascinating to see how he reacted to it. I’m connecting with him slowly and steadily, much faster than I did with my children.”
