For the last few days, Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty’s marriage rumors with Indian cricketer KL Rahul are doing rounds in the media. A sizzling couple of Tinseltown made their relationship official when Rahul wished Athiya on her birthday. The two remain in the headlines for their adorable outings and public spottings together.

Till today there was no information on whether the news of Athiya getting hitched to KL Rahul in the next three months is true or not. But finally, the word has come from the girl’s side. Breaking the silence on the floating rumors, Athiya’s father and superstar from the 90s era, Suniel Shetty has clarified how much truth it carries.

On being asked if the family has already started preparations for the much-awaited wedding, Shetty replied negatively. He said, “No, nothing has been planned yet!”

Suniel is happy with his daughter’s relationship. He has talked about it earlier also. Calling wedding her personal choice, he showered his love for KL Rahul too. He stated that he loves his son-in-law to be a lot for the person he is. Suniel and Athiya are often seen enjoying a cricket match and cheering for Rahul from the stands.

Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty, who made his Bollywood debut with the movie Tadap, had also shared his views on Athiya’s marriage earlier. He had told a leading daily, “As far as the wedding is concerned, no arrangements are being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumors. When there is no wedding, how can we give you a date?”

Recently, Athiya and Rahul traveled to Munich together for the latter’s groin surgery. After post successful operation, both of them were spotted hanging out with their friends in the city.
