According to reports in Malayalam media, Bollywood actress Sunny Leone‘s dance performance at Kerala University has been denied permission by the vice-chancellor. On July 5, the event was scheduled to take place at the University College of Engineering campus in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala.

Sunny Leone removed from the Schedule
According to Manorama and Mathrubhumi, vice chancellor of Kerala University, Dr. Mohanan Kunnummal, gave the registrar instructions to make sure Leone’s show was removed from the schedule.
After the stampede deaths that happened during union programmes in Thiruvananthapuram Engineering College and Cusat recently, the state government has imposed a ban on external DJ parties, music nights, etc. on campuses.
The VC said that despite this order, the union of the University College decided to hold a dance programme without attaining the varsity’s permission. The VC has said that under no circumstances will such programmes be allowed to be organised in the name of the union both on and outside the campus.

The 43-year-old Sunny Leone will appear in a forthcoming Malayalam movie. As she started filming the movie in April, she posted a photo of the muhurat ceremony on the sets to Instagram.
“I’m so excited to be part of this amazing Malayalam film that I ended up burning my hands. Director: @pampally,” she captioned the post.
She has acted in Bollywood films such as “Jism 2,” “Jackpot,” “Shootout at Wadala,” and “Ragini MMS 2.”.
Last year, she was seen in “Kennedy,” directed by Anurag Kashyap. She was featured alongside Rahul Bhat and Abhilash Thapliyal.
