A fashion designer has accused Indian television personality Surbhi Chandna and her crew of asking for free dresses for the event as they prepare for their impending nuptials with Karan Sharma.
Recently, well-known designer Ayush Kejriwal posted screenshots of a chat with Chandna’s stylist on social media. The communication, allegedly from the actress’s crew, asked for “high-resolution images and tags on all platforms” in exchange for sourcing clothing “on a social media credit basis.”
The accusation
Kejriwal voiced his displeasure by saying, “No, thank you. Why should I give outfits for free for someone’s wedding functions?! That’s ridiculous. If she can afford a lavish wedding in a palace, she certainly can pay for her clothes.” He further elaborated on his policy against gifting outfits to celebrities, emphasising that the request for a wedding felt particularly unreasonable.
Response from Surbhi
Neither Chandna nor her staff have addressed the designer’s allegations as of yet. The pair had already revealed their impending marriage on social media, but the precise dates of their wedding are still unknown.
