According to both the Hindu and Christian wedding rites, the Fashion actress tied the knot with the well-known American singer Nick Jonas in December 2018 at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhavan Palace.

Today, for Throwback Thursday, we will take you back to an interview that Priyanka gave in 2016, in which she discussed what she would do to her husband if she found out that he had been cheating on her.

During an interview with Filmfare, the actress said, “If a male has cheated on his girlfriend on occasion, it is up to the woman to decide whether or not she would accept him after he has slept with someone else. First, I would beat the crap out of him, then lock him up, and after that, I’m clueless. I’d likely resort to physical force.”

Despite this, the actress from Dil Dhadakne Do went on to say that whether or not she forgives him depends on the degree to which she loves him and that she believes everyone deserves a second chance. In an interview with an entertainment site, Priyanka said that, contrary to women, males are less likely to face the consequences of their extramarital affairs.

“My issue is that we don’t seem to have a problem when guys do it. They are referred to as players and charming, and their transgressions are forgotten. But a lady who engages in such behavior is referred to as a kulta. On the other hand, wives are more likely to accept it and think it’s great if a man does it. These are two very different benchmarks.”

Priyanka will make her comeback to Bollywood with Farhan Akhtar’s next directorial effort, Jee Le Zaraa, a road trip multi-starrer, and stars Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. There is a rumor that the three starring females would be cast opposite their respective spouses in the movie. These husbands are Nick Jonas, Vicky Kaushal, and Ranbir Kapoor.
