The demise of young, charming and supremely talented actress Tunisha Sharma has left the entire nation in shock. At the mere age of 20, she suffocated herself to death by hanging from the ceiling of her co-star and ex-beau Sheezan Mohammed Khan’s make-up room. Sharma committed suicide on the sets of her show Ali Baba: Dastan-E-Kabul. She was taken to hospital immediately but was declared dead on arrival.

Soon after, Tunisha mother filed a complaint against Sheezan for abetment of suicide and he was arrested on the same charges. During his interrogation, the Nazar 2 actor has now disclosed some unknown details about his relationship with Tunisha which ended 15 days prior to the actress taking such a drastic step.

Sheezan broke up with Tunisha due to different religions and age gap

When police question Sheezan what led to his breakup with Tunisha, he replied that after Shraddha Walkar case, Tunisha was under a lot of stress. She used to get tensed due to the ongoing discussion on social media. Citing age and religion, he refused to marry Tunisha and had a breakup.

Tunisha tried taking her life earlier also

Sheezan has told the police that a few days before committing suicide, Tunisha had tried to take her life, but he had saved her at that time. Not only this, he has claimed that he had told Tunisha’s mother about this as well.

Tunisha was not eating or drinking anything before her death

Sheezan has revealed to the police that Tunisha had not eaten or drunk anything a day before the suicide. He had tried to feed the actress on the day of the incident, but the actress did not eat anything that day as well. Sheezan said, ‘I asked Tunisha to walk on the set, but she said that she would come later. Even after a long time, when Tunisha did not come on the set, I myself went to the makeup room and knocked on the door. When no answer was received, I along with the others broke the door. Tunisha was hanging inside, after which she was admitted to the hospital.’

Besides Sheezan’s confessions, Tunisha’s mother too opened up to Police about her daughter’s obsession with Sheezan. The late actress had told her mother that she want Sheezan back in her life but he is not ready to listen. She made her mum talk to Sheezan once. When Tunisha’s mother had called Sheejan and asked her to return to her daughter’s life, Sheezan had apologised to them and said ‘forgive me’.

For the unversed, Tunisha Sharma had achieved a lot at a tender age and had a promising career ahead. She stepped into acting with Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap as Chand Kawar in 2015. Soon after, she marked her Bollywood debut as a child artist in Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor. Tunisha played the younger version of Katrina Kaif in the film. She did the same in Baar Baar Dekho too.
