Scarlett Johansson spoke extensively with Variety about visiting Jeremy Renner after the tragic accident, along with their Avengers co-star and close friend, Chris Evans.

The actress said she had no idea if she would ever see him again. “I’m absolutely thrilled to have seen him thrive and in such a happy mental space,” she said.

“It is evident from his work that he is a very spiritual and soulful individual. He has a lot of depth to him. And I was so pleased to see that he is full of life and light, as well as being hilarious”.

“The Black Widow actress said that they laughed a lot. We had a lot of fun.”
