Priti is working to uplift the literacy rate in Gujarat. Adani Group’s CSR budget has increased to Rs. 128 crores in 2018 -19 from Rs. 95 crores in 2017-18 all because of Preeti Adani. A tragic earthquake had hit in Gujarat, 2001. Preeti started her own Adani DAV School in Mundra. People appreciated her initiative and praised her. Preeti Adani had earlier announced that they were providing free education to the deprived ones in Gujarat.
Priti Adani’s four flagship programs
To combat poverty, malnutrition and illiteracy, Priti began to start four flagship programmes under Adani Foundation. They include, Saksham for skill development, Suposhan for malnutrition, Swachhagraha for malnutrition and Uthhan for children’s education. She divulged, “I had two choices to me- Either to help a few hundred people as a dentist or I could help thousands through the work of our foundation”. Priti has indeed transformed lives and directed paths to million people with her dedication and spirit.
