South-Bollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna is currently promoting her 2nd Bollywood film Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra. After becoming a household name with her performance in Pushpa: The Rise with Allu Arjun, she made her Bollywood debut with Goodbye opposite Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, and Pavel Gulati. The actress is enjoying the response to her latest release Varisu opposite Thalapathy Vijay.

However, the country crush was earlier in the news when she faced a ban from the Karnataka industry following a spat with Rishab Shetty of Kantara fame. She broke many fans’ hearts when she compared Bollywood and the South.

She said that her words were twisted and made against her. After that, she went on to add that this was not her actual response as she was cut off in the middle of her answer.

She said that it is her fault to answer 2 marks question with 5 marks. Her words were being twisted as well as turned against her. In the South, she said they have romantic numbers too. Rashmika said that there was no reason to say that the South has only mass numbers. She said that no one was interested to listen to her completely and went on to comment.
