Cricketer Yuvraj Singh Gets Mercilessly Trolled For ‘Welcome To 700 Club’ Tweet On Ronaldo
An error in a congratulatory tweet for Cristiano Ronaldo has turned former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh into a joke on social media. The former two-time World Cup-winning Indian all-rounder, who frequently tweets about his favorite footballers, hailed Ronaldo for scoring his historic 700th club goal in the Premier League match against Everton.
But it was Yuvraj’s choice of words that forced him to be constantly trolled on social media. He tweeted, “King is back! Form is temporary class is forever! Welcome to 700 club No7 GOAT, legend.”

It was Yuvraj’s ‘Welcome to the 700 club’ comment that created all the trouble. In fact, Ronaldo became the first player in football history to achieve this milestone on Sunday. Twitter users found fault with Yuvraj’s tweet and trolled him. Some users also pointed out the appropriate use of the phrase ‘welcome to the club.’
