‘Deepika, Katrina Ka Nahi Hai’: Alia Bhatt Trolled For Kissing Ranbir Kapoor While Greeting Paparazzi!
Recently, Bollywood couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor painted the town red with their PDA as they completed one year of marital bliss. After dropping some love-filled unseen pictures with each other on social media, the duo stepped out in the public. Instead of hanging out with their close ones, Alia and Ranbir made a visit to a new house which is currently under construction.
Both Alia and Ranbir kept it casual for the outing. While Alia wore a white t-shirt paired with jeans, Ranbir was spotted in a brown shirt with matching baggy pants. As they returned home, the adorable pair greeted the paparazzi from their car. The shutterbugs were wishing the couple their first wedding anniversary and Ranbir was shaking hands with them. As all of this was going on, Alia grabbed Ranbir’s face and planted a kiss on his cheek. She then smiled and blushed a bit as she gave a sweet look to Ranbir.
Many netizens showered love on this loveable moment between Alia and Ranbir. However, there was a section of audiences that found the act of Alia kissing Ranbir ‘cringeworthy’. They accused Alia of overacting. One user wrote, “Deepika, Katrina ka nhi ab tumhara hi hai over acting kyu kar Rahi ho”. Another stated, “Oh god. So awkward when she tried kissing him but didn’t know if she should😂😂.” A third one penned, “Media ko fake PDA dikha ke apne ghar mein jake alag lag floors par so jayenge.” “Cringe! Alia kissing him and he is continuing greeting as if he didn’t feel anything on his skin,” read a fourth comment.
For the unversed, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on the balcony of their Bandra home on 14th April last year. Their marriage was a close-knit yet lavish affair with family and close friends in attendance. The couple became proud parents to daughter Raha in November 2022.
Workwise, Alia Bhatt will come up next with Karan Johar’s directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ opposite Ranveer Singh. On the other hand, Ranbir will appear next in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ alongside Rashmika Mandana.
