Actor Amar Upadhyay, aged 47, and his wife, social activist Hetal Upadhyay, aged 46, recently commemorated their 25th wedding anniversary on March 5. To celebrate this milestone, the couple decided to take a vacation in Goa. “I managed to secure about three days off from my busy schedule, and I’m making the most of it,” said Amar, speaking from the airport while awaiting his return flight home. He expressed the challenges of arranging time off, particularly in the demanding world of daily soap operas.
The couple enjoys a special holiday in Goa to commemorate their milestone.
Initially, I assumed our trip to Goa was solely for leisure, but upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by Amar’s thoughtful gestures. He had orchestrated numerous charming surprises for me, such as a romantic dinner by the sea complete with a tent, bonfire, flowers, and twinkling lights – an incredibly special moment. Hetal excitedly recounted various highlights of their trip, including engaging in water sports, indulging in various buffets, and partaking in numerous other activities meticulously planned by Amar.
Excitement for Future
“We’ve been simply unwinding during our time here. I longed for 2-3 days of solitude with just the two of us, away from family and children. Initially, we considered Cordelia Cruise and Andaman as our destination, but it necessitated a minimum of 4-5 days, which wasn’t feasible due to my shooting commitments. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed this special holiday,” Amar elaborated. He expressed that now that their children are all grown up, they felt deserving of this holiday after many years of dedicated parenting.
Amar and Hetal appreciate each other’s support and love.
When asked about completing the significant milestone of 25 years together, Amar expressed, “The number looks impressive, 25 years, but it doesn’t feel like it. It feels like it’s only been 6-7 years. Being married to her feels fantastic. She’s an absolutely incredible person, and I thank God for bringing her into my life. It’s been the best 25 years of my life, and I look forward to many more.”
Hetal added, “It’s fantastic to celebrate our silver jubilee, but honestly, 25 is just a number. It’s a great feeling to reach this milestone together. Amar is one of the best people I’ve ever met. I’m deeply in love with him today, and I can’t imagine a single minute without him. While he’s mostly occupied with his business and acting career, I’m grateful for how well he’s taken care of the household and our children. He’s the best, and I can’t thank him enough. I give him full credit for managing everything. Here’s to more beautiful anniversaries ahead! 25 wonderful years of my life!”
