Earlier, he had achieved another achievement only last month. A street in the Canadian city of Markham has been renamed to AR Rahman to honor AR Rahman. Earlier in the year 2013, another street in Markham (Canada) was named Allah-Rakha Rahman St after musician AR Rahman.
