Ever since its inception, Ayan Mukherjee’s visual spectacle, Brahmastra is creating a lot of buzzes. Now that the first part of the trilogy has worked well at the box office, it is gearing up for an OTT release. Before hitting theatres, the team of film promoted it exclusively in various parts of the nation. But seems like Ranbir Kapoor is now frustrated with this never-ending promotional spree.

Earlier this week, Alia Bhatt shared a funny video of Ranbir talking about “more promotions” for the Dharma Productions flick.  “I’m done with Brahmastra promotions, I’m done with Ayan Mukerji. Even Alia has not said ‘Shiva, Shiva’ so many times in the film. I’ve become a ghost by dancing so much. Alia has lost her voice by singing Kesariya at every event,” Ranbir is heard telling someone on a call. However, in the next moment when Ranbir gets Ayan’s call to kickstart the promotions for the OTT release of Brahmastra, he tells the filmmaker that they ‘must promote’ the film. “Hard facts,” Alia wrote in the caption.

Now, in another hilarious video on the same lines, the Tamasha actor is seen getting angry at Ayan Mukerji and walking out in the middle of recording a clip aimed at making people aware of the OTT release of Brahmastra. Ayan posted this video on his Instagram with a caption, “Justttt incase you missed it. 4th November… The Light is Coming!… (AGAIN) To Disney+Hotstar!! ……… Blockbuster!!! Okay bye.”

The video begins with a visibly irritated Ranbir saying his lines, “Brahmastra coming on Disney+ Hotstar on November 4.” Ayan, who is behind the lens doesn’t seem convinced by this and says, “Hmm. Blockbuster, you forgot to say blockbuster.” A frustrated Ranbir told him, in Hindi, “Let it be. It’s done now.” When Ayan insists, Ranbir repeats, “Watch our blockbuster Brahmastra on Disney+ Hotstar on November 4.”

Ayan again seems unimpressed. “You are just saying anything. Do it properly,” he says. At this point, Ranbir takes off his mic and storms out saying, “Bhai mera hogaya abhi tereko jo bolna hai tu bol (I’m done, now you say whatever you want to).” Then, Ayan comes into frame and says, “November 4, don’t miss it, Disney+ Hotstar.”

In the comments section, several actors reacted to this amusing video. Alia Bhatt dropped several laughing face emojis. She also shared the clip on her Instagram Stories.

For the unversed, Brahmastra stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the leads. Mouni Roy appears as a villain in the film while Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Shah Rukh have brief yet impactful roles in this ambitious movie.
