Actor Aditya Roy Kapur is still remembered for his portrayal of a musician struggling with addiction to alcohol ‘Rahul Jaykar’ in Aashiqui 2 by one and all. Recently, he made his fans reminisce the same with an impromptu music performance at Cyber Hub in Gurugram.
Aditya is currently in Delhi NCR for the shooting of the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit, Thadam. He took everyone by surprise when he started performing with a guitar at the shoot location. Several videos of Aditya bringing the house down have gone viral online. In the video, one can see Kapur playing guitar and humming an English melody as the audience cheers him on.
The comments on his videos shared on social media are proof that Aditya is still hugely remembered as Rahul Jaykar. One of the fans commented “Rahul Jaykar zinda hai (Rahul Jaykar is alive).” Another wrote, “Uff this guy looks like a dream.” One fan called Aditya the ‘coolest lad’. “Be still my beating heart,” a third user penned.
The line producer of the film Javed Khan shared the shooting details and said, “They are going to shoot in Delhi-NCR till October 29. They are currently shooting in Gurgaon but then there are other locations in Delhi that are also planned in the coming days. We still have shoots planned in Connaught Place, Paharganj, Jantar Mantar, Humayun’s Tomb. There was also a small shooting segment done in Chandni Chowk also recently.”

Talking about the precautions being taken by the team, a source said, “There is no bio bubble as such because there is 100 percent vaccination among the crew. Even things are looking fine outside. It is going smoothly without any hassle, but of course, the crew is smaller. However, all precautions are being taken to make sure that all cast and crew members are safe.”
