According to the information, a person named Nitin Barai told the Bandra police that Shilpa and Raj have been cheating with him since 2014 through a firm.

After the complaint of Barai, the Bandra Police has registered an FIR against all the other accused including Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. These include 420 (cheating), 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (general intent). After this, now the Mumbai Police can soon interrogate the accused in the case. At the same time, to know the side of Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty in the case, the police can contact them soon.
The complainant alleged that in July 2014, Kashif Khan, director of the SFL fitness company, along with Shetty, Kundra, and others, told him that it would be of great benefit to him if he takes the franchise of his company and opens a spa and gym in Koregaon area of Pune. Following his advice, Barai invested Rs 1 crore 59 lakh 27 thousand, but after that, the accused used his money for their own benefit. Not only this, when he asked for his money back, he was also threatened.
