Ravi Kishan revealed that he had to run away from home

Ravi Kishan revealed that he had to run away from home at the age of 17 due to his father’s anger. He said, “My father was beating me badly and hitting me with a hammer. He wanted to kill me, and my mother knew that her husband could kill me, and he wouldn’t hesitate. So she said, ‘Run away.'”

The actor said that with Rs 500 in his pocket, he took a train to Mumbai and left home. However, the actor justified his father’s behaviour and said, “He was a priest and being a Brahmin, he always wanted me to do farming, become a priest, or get a government job.”

“He never thought that an artist could be born in his family. So dancing in Ramleela or playing the role of Sita was a bit shocking for him. He used to beat me, but every beating was a lesson for me, and he made Ravi Kishan.”

The actor said that in the end, his father was happy with him because he had started earning a lot of money. Before dying, there were tears in his eyes, and he said, ‘You are our pride’. “I always wanted to die a meaningful death since childhood. Everyone is born for a reason, and my reason has made me ‘Ravi Kishan’.”

Talking about Workfront, Kishan was also seen in the legal drama ‘Legal Hai’ series. This series is currently streaming on Netflix.
