Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut wished her mother Asha Ranaut on her birthday through Instagram Stories. On Monday, she shared an adorable picture with her mother. She wrote a heartfelt message for her on her birthday. She was all smiling in the picture. She described how she used to fear her mother as a child. But now, she calls her mother Asha a ‘friend.’

Her mother wore a light brown saree with a mangal sutra around her neck. She wore her glasses too. The actress closed her eyes. She hugged her mother. They posed for the camera. Her mother had a broad smile on her face in the picture.

She shared the picture. She penned a heartfelt note too. She said that growing up she was scared of her mother. When she became an adult her mother transformed into a friend. Now when she sees her play with Prithavi and be naughty, giggly like a kid she thinks to herself. This is her favourite phase of her mother. She added, “Happy Birthday mumma (red heart emoji).”

The film is about the political upheaval in India during the 1975-77 Emergency. She has the brilliance to play the role of an Indian Air Force pilot too.
