Well-known small screen actor Dilip Joshi has carved a niche for himself with the show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Dilip Joshi, who plays Jethalal in the show, does not need an introduction. The actor, who has worked with many big stars in films, has been winning the hearts of the audience for the last decade with his acting.

 

The long-running show suffered a major setback when one of its main characters, Disha Vakani aka Dayaben, left the show due to her pregnancy. However, there were several reports of Dayaben returning to the show. But she has not returned to the show yet. Well, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah continues to be the choice of the audience and the show has become one of the most liked shows on Television. Now news is coming that Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi may soon say goodbye to this show.

Amidst the speculations of leaving the show, actor Dilip Joshi has opened up about his future plans. In an interview, he said, “I think when this show is doing well, then why unnecessarily leave it for something else. I have got so much love from the audience because of this show and I don’t want to waste it unnecessarily.”

 

Let us tell you that before ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, Dilip Joshi did not have any work. During an interview, Dilip Joshi said, “I did not have work before signing for the character Jethalal of “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”. For more than a year, I had no job. The serial I was working on went off-air. The runtime of the drama I was a part of was over. Therefore, I had no work. It was a tough time and I didn’t know what to do. But by the grace of God, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was offered to me and it became such a hit that there was no looking back.”

Dilip made his Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s film “Maine Pyar Kiya”. Since then, he appeared in several Gujarati plays and TV shows including ‘Yeh Duniya Hai Rangoon’ and ‘Kya Baat Hai’.  Further, he was seen in films like ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’, ‘Khiladi 420’, ‘One 2 Ka 4’, ‘Humraaz’, ‘Firak’ and ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun…’.
