Laughter Champions Will Take Over The Kapil Sharma Show- Deets Inside

For more than a decade, The Kapil Sharma Show has been delighting audiences. The show has a large following of individuals of all ages. The cast of the show will go on hiatus beginning next month as they embark on a tour of the United States. A new comedy program called Laughter Champions will take its place. Shekhar Suman will make his long-awaited return to the small screen with this program. On the judging panel, he will be accompanied by Archana Puran Singh. The two had previously performed together on Comedy Circus and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

According to Indian Express sources, the broadcaster did not want to disappoint its devoted viewers. While reruns of The Kapil Sharma Show were an option, they preferred to keep fans entertained with new material. “Comedy Circus has been a successful project on Sony TV and has even given India many talented artists. With no stand-up comedy show at the moment, the team decided to launch one. While having Archana on the show was a no-brainer, the team decided to play on the nostalgia card and got Shekhar Suman onboard too,” added the source.

The promo was filmed by Archana Puran Singh and Shekhar Suman, and the program will begin filming before the end of the month. Sony TV was looking for comedians, and according to a source, the crew was successful in finding some exceptional performers.

Shekhar Suman has previously shared a video from his vanity while sharing a BTS from the commercial shoot. He is seen getting dressed and conversing with his crew in the video. He says to the camera that he’ll be back on TV soon. “Lights, Sound, Camera & Loads of Action… Wait for it,” Shekhar Suman captioned the post.
