Mannara Chopra Opens Up About Losing Fairness Cream Ad Due To This Reason: Read Now

Mannara Chopra talked about how she lost an ad for fairness cream a few years ago. The actor told Siddharth Kannan that she had made it through three rounds of auditions for the ad and was almost ready to start filming when she noticed pimples on her face. That’s why she was sent home from the set and turned down for the ad.

What Mannara Said

In the interview, Mannara talked about how she got the chance after trying it out a few times. She said, “I tried out for the ad.” I was picked for the next round of tests after the first round. I was called again for the second round. After that, I was picked again from a smaller group. “The last girls they pick” really does mean. They called me the day before the shoot to see the final piece. That’s why they called me, and I was picked again! After three rounds, it was my turn to go on set.

How Pimples Cause Setback in Career Dreams

“I got acne and pimples on my forehead overnight,” she said as she talked about what did happen next. There were a lot of pimples on this part of the face (pointing towards her forehead) when I got to Madh Island at 4 a.m. When they tried to cut light, it didn’t work.  I was sent back from the set.

I felt awful about that. That was the first time in my life that someone turned me down. As much as many people say they don’t want to, I really did want to do things that are fair. When I got home, I cried so hard because I had been turned down because of these foolish pimples.
