Malaika Arora has praised her actor boyfriend Arjun Kapoor’s latest film, Kuttey. The multi-starrer hit theatres on Friday after a special screening for friends and family. Malaika took to Instagram Stories on Thursday night to praise the film.
Malaika Arora commented on the Kuttey poster, which featured Arjun Kapoor, saying, “What a cracker of a film. And fantastic performances (heart emoticon). See it in a theatre near you.” With the post, she also included the ‘let’s go to the movies’ sticker.Arjun referred to her as “my biggest cheerleader” in his Instagram Stories response to her post.
Aasman Bhardwaj, Vishal Bhardwaj’s son, makes his directorial debut with Kuttey. Arjun, Tabu, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sensharma, Naseeruddin Shah, and Shardul Bhardwaj star in it.
In Kuttey, Arjun plays a cop. Following the release of the trailer, he stated in a statement, “It’s really encouraging to see that the trailer for Kuttey was well received by the public, the media, and the industry, and that they’re excited to see me in the film. People expect me to push myself in order to deliver a credible performance, which I have realised. It happened to me in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, and I see the same love returning to me with the Kuttey trailer.”
He continued , “people have seen is only a snippet of what my character does in the film or what actually occurs in Kuttey. We only wanted to do this trailer if they became interested in our film. Now I’m hoping that people will enjoy what I’ve done in the film. I’m looking forward to seeing how people react to the film when it comes out.”
Malaika also made a comeback last year with her reality show, Moving In With Malaika. It featured private conversations about her life with friends and family members such as Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Amrita Arora.Arjun and Malaika’s relationship is still going strong. They recently celebrated New Year’s Eve on vacation with industry pal Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal, as well as a few others.
