Nick Jonas joked that he was once sick and tired of attending Priyanka Chopra’s numerous Indian wedding ceremonies, especially after seeing the bills, during a lighthearted Carpool session with his brothers.

Nick Jonas has officially been named India’s national jiju. During his Lollapalooza performance, the entire audience began applauding and calling him “jiju,” which was evidence of the same. Also observed making fun of Nick and calling him “jiju” are his brothers, Kevin and Joe Jonas. We recently came across a post on social media where Nick Jonas was seen making light of the fact that he was sick of being married to Priyanka Chopra and wanted to move on.

For those who don’t know, Nick Jonas married Indian actress Priyanka Chopra in 2018. The couple married in a traditional Christian ceremony as a tribute to Nick’s culture after a fully realised Indian wedding complete with several rituals like sangeet, mehendi, and haldi. The couple later decided to become parents through surrogacy in 2022.

The Jonas brothers, Nick, Kevin, and Joe, participated in a carpool and a lie detector test on The Late Late Show With James Corden. The host asked them flirtatious questions, and they had to respond with a yes or no. Nick said “yes” when James asked if he had reached the end of his numerous wedding rites. He added in jest that when he saw the wedding bills, he regretted the Indian ceremonies even more. Watch the video here.

During Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s wedding, Kevin Jonas also mentioned that he was astounded by their numerous ceremonies and questioned when they would end. When asked in the same interview if any of his brother’s wives irritate him, Joe Jonas replied that he didn’t, but the lie detector machine disagreed. While Joe remained silent about it, his brothers were observed making fun of him and making jokes about it.

Nick Jonas took to Instagram on January 4, 2024, to share an adorable selfie with his daughter, Malti. Just her eyes and forehead were visible when the toddler took the self-portrait, removing half of her face. Posing with his munchkin and sporting a cutesy pout, Nick was spotted beside Malti, wearing a black sweatshirt. Nick wrote as the post’s caption:  “Morning selfie by MM.”
