Chanakya Chandraprakash Dwivedi of Hindi cinema is in a lot of discussion about his upcoming film Prithviraj. Now he has revealed about the film that, before making this film, he had preserved this story for 18 years. Talking to news agency IANS, the director said, Prithviraj is one of my dream projects.

“This is a script that I have cherished for a long time. Because I needed a lot of research before making a film on this mighty and great king. In order to make the story of the film accurate, Prithviraj’s final research has taken me about 6 months to be completely satisfied with this fact; every single fact has been checked several times,” he said.

He further said, “I read many books based on his life to ensure justice to Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan in my film. And today, I am satisfied as a writer and filmmaker. There is no emperor like Prithviraj in our history and I hope our film will be a tribute to his valour, indomitable courage and generous lifestyle.”

Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film will showcase the life and the heroic, indomitable courage of the fearless, mighty king, Prithviraj Chauhan, on the big screen. In the film, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the character of Prithviraj while Manushi Chhillar will be seen playing the character of Sanyogita.

Apart from Akshay and Manushi, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood and Manav Vij will also be seen in the lead roles in the film. The film was announced by Akshay Kumar on his birthday in the year 2019. The historical drama film will hit the big screens on June 10 in cinemas across the world including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
