Bigg Boss 2 fame Rahul Mahajan has often grabbed limelight for his marital life. A while ago, it came to the fore that the politician’s third marriage with Kazakhstani model Natalya Ilina has also come to an end. Alongside the news of his divorce, there began a lot of speculations surrounding the major turbulence in Rahul’s third wedding. While some reports stated that the actor wanted a baby, others alleged his estranged wife of asking hefty alimony from Rahul.
Now, amidst all the rumours floating in the media, the politician has opened up on his ongoing condition. He has shared how he has lost faith in the institution of marriage and love itself after separating from Natalya. Rahul also revealed being on therapy.
In an interview with ETimes, the reality TV star said that he is emotionally unavailable at the moment. He mentioned that although he can meet and speak to everyone, he cannot love someone as he is scared about it. Rahul told that he needs time to heal from his emotional trauma. He stated:
“I am emotionally unavailable at the moment. I can meet someone, talk to someone, but pyaar main nahi kar sakta because mujhe darr hogaya hai. I need to heal, I’m not fit.”
In a previous interaction, the former pilot dismissed all the rumours claiming that his divorce from Natalya was due to his wish to have a child. He asserted that he and his ex-wife never tried for a baby. They had no plans for bringing a new life to this world. Rahul also added that he doesn’t want a kid now as he is 48.
Apart from this, the Bigg Boss contestant also refuted reports of Natalya asking a whopping amount of alimony from him. Rahul disclosed that all his divorces were mutual and he never had to pay even a single penny of alimony to his former wives.
For the unversed, Rahul Mahajan’s personal life has always been tumultuous. Earlier, he was married to Shweta Singh from 2006-2008 and Dimpy Ganguly from 2010-2015. In 2018, Rahul had tied the knot for the third time with Kazakhstan-based model, Natalya Ilina. The duo who have a massive age gap of 18 years appeared together in the reality show ‘Smart Jodi’.
