Popular TV actress, Rubina Dilaik became an internet sensation after her Bigg Boss stint last year. Every now and then, we find her making headlines, sometimes for her beautiful photos and sometimes for her simple yet inspiring posts on social media.

Rubina keeps her fans glued to her Instagram and often treats her admirers with bold and adventurous pictures. Her recently shared message regarding self-love on her social media handle is going viral. In the post, Rubina has talked about how she put on weight while recovering from Covid-19 and how it made her feel ‘really uncomfortable and low on confidence.’

Posting pictures in a beautiful off-shoulder gown, the Bigg Boss 14 winner has written, “I am learning to love myself again after realizing a perfect, lean body doesn’t define who I am. I gained 7 kgs post my Covid recovery which made me really uncomfortable and low on confidence! Struggled hard to get back to my usual 50 but…”

She continued, “So here is to my beautiful people a Lil nugget (which I am currently practicing)! Weight is all about having your health first and not your looks… Be kind to your body.”

The Shakti actress has realized an important thing about health during her Covid-19 journey. She feels that she is now on a learning stage where she is figuring out that there is more to her than a ‘perfect’ lean body.

The post of Rubina Dilaik has attracted many reactions. In the comment section, Rubina’s husband and actor Abhinav Shukla took a funny jibe at his wife’s fitness story, “Ok ma’am! I have put on 7 kgs just eating parathas!” Rubina’s co-contestant from Bigg Boss, Jaan Kumar Sanu also commented and wrote, “I’ve put on 5 kgs eating pizza @rubinadilaik.”

Earlier this year, Rubina tested positive for Covid-19. The actress was quarantined at her house in Shimla while her husband Abhinav was in Mumbai. Rubina kept sharing updates on her recovery during her battle with Covid-19. She has shared it in detail on her YouTube channel too.

Rubina and Abhinav were seen as participants on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 14. Last month, Rubina, in one of her Instagram posts had shared her regret about not walking out of the show after Abhinav’s ‘unfair’ eviction. Rubina lifted the title of the controversial show last year beating her tough competitor Rahul Vaidya. She was recently seen making a guest appearance on Bigg Boss OTT.
