For the first episode of season 8 of “Koffee with Karan,” the director reportedly had Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in mind, according to a news website. He reportedly wants the Bollywood IT couple to start chatting up their marriage and having kids.

Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly appear in the introduction of the finale episode in addition to Ranbir and Alia. While Shah Rukh Khan was absent from the opening episode of the previous season, Alia and Ranveer Singh made an appearance.

For season 8, Karan Johar also intends to bring back several of his regulars, like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra. According to reports, this show’s next season will begin streaming online around the end of June.

After a seven-year hiatus, Karan Johar is back in the director’s chair this year. He recently finished filming the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt movie “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.” Karan Johar wrote in a remark about the film, “It’s been 7 years since I directed a picture… The seed for #rockyaurranikipremkahani came to me from a true family anecdote (something my father once told me about), and then my soldiers helped me create everything I wanted to with my seventh feature. I had to stop making the film midway for a variety of unavoidable reasons.”
