These days Tara Sutaria is in discussions about her upcoming film Ek Villain Returns. The actress recently sang a song for the film and it was her singing debut as well. Now Tara has got another big news, the actress has got her first lead film.

Tara, who started her career with Student Of The Year 2, has been sharing the screen with some actresses in all the films she has done so far, but now she is going to play the lead role. Star Studios and Cine1 Studios have announced their next project ‘ Apurva’ with Tara Sutaria on 18th of April. Tara starrer will be directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat.

Tara Sutaria, who essays the role of Apurva says, “I could not have asked for a better script and I am proud to be able to play the role of Apurva as a young actress. This is the story of a girl who has amazing grit and strength, and I am excited to begin my journey to play the role of a young woman whose mind and guts keep her alive through all odds.”
